1 week at the amazing islands of Maldives, we come back as a pilot, ok a semi drone pilot…
We managed to create our best project yet. Filming sharks, dolphins jumping out of the water, stingrays, eels and thousands of tropical fish.

Our photo for the “Readers’ travel photography competition: January – wild” was Shortlisted, but unfortunately didn’t win.
Wild monkeys roam around a sacred area in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Many visitors pass through, watching and feeding them nuts from a nearby market stall. This is one of the dominant males of the group.

I have been experimenting with exposure merges from last years trip to Tenerife. Here’s the result from 4 great magic hour sessions.
Question: is exposure merges / photo montage / hdr real photography? My daughter recently told me that I was cheating when she saw the layers in Photoshop….
Is it the new age equivalent to dark room techniques? Well these are exposure composites from real photos, no additives have been added and I am happy with them!!
